How do I join a Pixelmon server using this list?
To join a Pixelmon server, scroll through the list above and pick one that looks fun, maybe a server with gyms, a good starter PokĂ©mon, or one that runs on a modpack you already have installed. Once youâve found one, click the Copy IP button on the serverâs listing. Most servers with Pixelmon require a modded client so before you open Minecraft make sure you install the correct mod or modpack the server recommends on its page. After the modpack is installed, open Minecraft through it, go to Multiplayer, click Add Server, and paste the IP into the address box to connect. If you cannot join, double check that youâre using the right Pixelmon version and modpack the server lists.
What is a Minecraft Pixelmon server and how do they work?
A PokĂ©mon server in Minecraft (often called a Pixelmon server) is a modded world that combines normal Minecraft survival with PokĂ©mon styled gameplay. Instead of just mining and building, you explore to find PokĂ©mon to catch with Poke Balls, then train them and battle other players. Most of these servers include features like gyms, NPC trainers, a PokĂ©dex, breeding, trading, and a full battle system which lets you fight against other playersâ PokĂ©mon. That said you still gather resources and build a base like regular survival, but the main focus is on the PokĂ©mon element.
How do I find the best Pokémon server for me?
When youâre trying to find the best server itâs important to figure out what exactly youâre looking to play. Some servers focus on a more casual PokĂ©mon experience with story quests and gyms, while others are more competitive and have features like ranked battles, tournaments, and IV/EV training. You may also want to see how many players are usually online, what region the server is hosted in, and whether there are extra features like custom regions or player run towns. Feel free to try a couple server IPs from the list above and stay on whichever feels the most fun to play.
