Anarchy servers are a specific gamemode of Minecraft that has no rules and sometimes even allows cheating. The goal of an Anarchy server is to survive in the wild with minimal resources and hide from other hostile players. It is important to remember that griefing tends to be allowed on anarchy servers so hiding your items helps.

How do I connect to an anarchy server from this list?
To join, scroll through the list of anarchy servers above and click on one that you find interesting, for example a server with a lot of players or one that recently released. Click the Copy IP button on the serverâs listing. Then open Minecraft, click Multiplayer, then Add Server, paste the IP into the address box and join. Before connecting, make sure the server supports the version of Minecraft you are using, since many of these servers have no rules and minimal features that forces them to only support certain versions.
What are anarchy servers in Minecraft and how do I play them?
An anarchy server is a survival multiplayer world with very few rules, sometimes none at all. Admins rarely ban players, griefing is typically allowed and sometimes even cheats are tolerated depending on the server. Many anarchy servers have been around for years and have chaotic histories, with very old player builds, ruined highways and bases you can discover once you escape spawn and start exploring.
What should I look for when choosing a server here?
When you browse the servers above, start by checking the map age, average player count and what version of Minecraft the anarchy server lets you join with. Older Minecraft worlds with big maps often never reset, so you will be at a disadvantage if you are new compared to a server that just recently released or reset. You should also decide how extreme you want the rules to be: some anarchy Minecraft servers allow almost everything, including hacks, while others keep a more traditional approach where things like lag machines and certain clients are not allowed. Try a couple of IPs from the list, spend some time escaping spawn and talking to the community, then stay on the server where the difficulty and players match what you are looking for.
