8BitWorlds is an innovative, spaced themed Minecraft network with the first adventure on the horizon called Kingdoms. Kingdoms is a truly unique experience that will change the way you play and engage in a towny server. The server IP address for 8BitWorlds is play.8bitworlds.net. In order to find the server IP please use the information provided on the left side of this page.
Open the launcher, next click the "Play" button then select "Multiplayer" from the menu.
Click "Add Server" tab and input the text play.8bitworlds.net on the "Server Address" box then hit "Done".
Once the connection is available and turns green you may click on "Join Server" button to play on 8BitWorlds.
8BitWorlds supports Minecraft version: 1.18, you may also use any other older or lower versions to connect and play on the server.
The 8BitWorlds server is currently hosted in United States and has a great connection.
You can play Towny, Skyblock, Roleplay, Skywars, Economy, Mini Games, Prison, on the 8BitWorlds Minecraft Server.
The 8BitWorlds server is a fairly new server and there is a small player base since it's new. There is currently only 1 game mode available which is Kingdoms. The Kingdoms game mode is very cool. You first spawn in a floating island world. Where you can do a tutorial, find easter eggs , & etc. During your first login to the Kingdoms server you will be asked to select a race for your character. There is only 1 race available at start and that is the Human race. What's cool about this server is there are 26 playable races that can be bought with in game money you grind/farm. Each race has their own background story and each race provides a player with buffs/debuffs. The Kingdoms server is a towny server and I've never played a towny server before. Whats really cool is if you do /help in game there is a help gui menu. From there I was able to navigate to a server information page where I found a YouTube video playlist on how to play towny servers. This made it really easy for me to use towny commands and etc. The help menu also offers a command menu which will tell you all the server commands and give you a brief description on that command. I've also started to explore mob spanner grinders and brewing different drinks. Both feature are really cool. One thing that took me by surprise was the terrain generation. This server has some cool custom biomes that are so cool to explore. There are only 2 owners for this server/network and both of them are very nice/helpful. But I've only scratched the surface on what this server truly has to offer. Hope to see some of you on the server. :)
